Stop Bullying

Hello everyone, we will learn about bullying. We must stop bullying.

Bullying is an ongoing and deliberate misuse of power in relationships through repeated verbal, physical and/or social behaviour that intends to cause physical, social and/or psychological harm. It can involve an individual or a group misusing their power, or perceived power, over one or more persons who feel unable to stop it from happening.

Bullying can happen in person or online, via various digital platforms and devices and it can be obvious (overt) or hidden (covert). Bullying behaviour is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time (for example, through sharing of digital records).

Bullying of any form or for any reason can have immediate, medium and long-term effects on those involved, including bystanders.

Single incidents and conflict or fights between equals, whether in person or online, are not defined as bullying.

Bullying can happen to anyone at any age, in any walk of life. It is unfortunately, very common, so please do not feel that you are alone. Other people go through similar situations and have an understanding about how you may be feeling.

There are different types of bullying which can occur at school, work or even at home.Whatever form the bullying takes, it can have a devastating effect upon a person's life.

  • Physical - can include punching, slapping, being pushed over, or having your property stolen, like a bag or mobile telephone.
  • Verbal or psychological - can include name-calling, sarcasm, or being ignored and isolated from your friends or colleagues.
  • Cyber-bullying - is having nasty messages sent to you via the email or text and, sometimes, having embarrassing photographs put onto the web.
People who are being bullied can find it helpful to talk to someone about the situation, particularly where bullying has left them feeling isolated, unconfident and helpless. It can also be helpful to hear about other peoples' experiences about being bullied and how they cope.

One of the people who have big issue about bullying is Selena Gomes,

Singer Selena Gomez reveals how she went through the most difficult times of her life. In recent years, the singer of "Lose You To Love Me" has experienced many storms at almost all points of his life. Not only was he lined up with health problems due to lupus, but also those problems gradually started affecting his mental health as well.

He explained in a recent interview with Giving Back Generation that having lupus had a direct impact on his weight. According  Selena, high blood pressure and drug consumption due to lupus have contributed to her weight gain.

"For me, I really noticed when people started attacking me for it (weight gain). It was important to me, it really messed me up a little bit," said Gomez. Because of that, he had decided to leave the social media that was established. He then finally returned, but this time Gomez only focused on his timeline or timeline.

"I am very happy with living my life and being present. Because of that. I post photos and go; for me that's all. I will walk the red carpet, I will do whatever; I don't have to see it; I go along; I feel like I'm on the red carpet. "Extraordinary and to the extent that it is. I don't care about exposing myself to everyone and hearing what they have to say," he said. Gomez also hopes that many people will follow the principles of social media. Because he engages so many beautiful girls and different amazing characters who are destroyed by the image they are trying to pursue. "They want to be completely different people, but that's not what they are in," said Gomez.

The pop star added that he too was a victim of the social media trap. "I understand. I used to look at other people's pages and I would say, 'OK, I have to fix myself'," he said. Finally Gomez was able to get through the struggle. "I didn't believe that I could go through life alone," said Gomez.
